Cervelo Seat Post Wedge
On my P-series, I have been tightening the seat post wedge to 8Nm as specified by Cervelo. However, when the torque is at about 4Nm, the seat post clamp starts to move up. By the time I get to 8Nm, the seat post clamp sits about 5mm above the frame. The seat post is not slipping but I am not sure what is causing this slip and if it might cause damage. Would assembly paste between the seat post and seat post wedge help or would this mess up the torque reading? TIA

Sounds like the moveable part of wedge is too tight, loosen the 3 mm so it can travel.
