Cervelo EX10 Riser and EW-RS910 Junction A
Quote | Reply
Fellow members of the brains trust....
I am in the process of swapping over the EX11 monoriser to the EX10 model on my Cervelo P5D.
I really like the simplicity of the single RS910 junction A being at the back of one of the extensions to save the spaghetti that I have on my P3X.
Does anyone have any experience with how this can potentially be wired to work? The only way that I can see it working is if I cut a hole in one of the carbon extensions to be able to route the e-tube out and into the monoriser. It would just make a super nice and tidy set up.
Keen to hear if others have done it or if others have nice ideas on how to keep their Di2 wiring all nice and tidy on the P5D.

Set the aeroport on its side to line the cable up nicely with the port at the top of the riser

Awesome!
Any ideas about how quickly PD will return this to stock? It is showing as sold out in Australia. Am happy to wait.

That is because Australia is a backwater. Fortunately the light of civilization shines brightly if you look to the southeast.

Or actually that it's not in production now as 12s doesn't have a junction box. I still have some and can send across the ditch if you would like.

Hey there,

Our shop has posted a blog on how to cleanly route the Di2 cables w/o any additional parts:

Hope this helps!

With this you would still need to cut a slot or drill a hole in the extension to get a wire out, or am I missing something?

I put a 5 port junction box in the small bento.

The bracket holds the RS910 slightly off the back of the extension so the cable can exit
have a look at page 6 of the manual if you're interested

Did you check that your extensions meet the 19mm ID requirement for the RS910?
All Ally is fine, carbon can be a problem.

They are yours! 4525 carbon. Love the bend on these.

Will it work??

If they're SLC, yes
If they're pre-SLC, no
The inner diameter opened up on the SLC so the RS910 could fit inside. That was the point of the update, lighter was just a consequence of thinner walls.

How do I determine?

Mine have a provision for cable entry. Appears the SLC do not???

Only way I can think of is to take the tape off and check for the SL badge up on the grip

That a PD Aeria Ultimate stem? I’ve been looking for some ways to help a friend clean up their Felt IAFRD RB front end and your picture looks tight. Good Job.

I took a dremmel to the rear of the extension and also to the RS910 to make them fit.
