There is a very good masters swim program at Carlsbad High School. However, it is pretty crowded lately and not all can get in to the noon workout. The pool is off Interstate 5 exit Carlsbad Village Dr. to Monroe.

There is a running track right there, too.

Lap swims are available at different times. Call The city of carlsbad recreation dept. for exact times.



Also, the Boys and Girls Club in Solana beach. 20 minutes south of C'bad. It is off 5 at Lomas Santa fe.

as Jeff said, best place to swim is the Carlsbad City Rec pool, 25m outdoor pool, right beside Carlsbad High School. Masters is at 6am and 12 noon every weekday. Monday, Wednesday and Friday are freestyle days, Tuesday and Thursday are stroke days, or drill days. Masters uses about half the pool, so even if you don't want to do Masters, other lanes are available for swimming. Tuesday and Thursday are not as busy.
