So, I recently discovered a dime/nickel sized hole in my favorite bibs right on the inner thigh where it rubs the nose of the saddle. It's about 1/2 way down the leg of the bibs. Can you patch lycra? And if so, do you use just a regular patch for normal clothing? Thanks.

I took a pair to a local seamstress and she did a great job closing the gap. Never tried an actual patch though

Heat up an iron as hot as it will go. Lay a piece of plastic wrap over the hole. Press hard with the iron until you smell an acrid, burning smell. Throw away the bibs. Buy new bibs.
