Can I take P1 pedals through airport security?

Hoping to take my powertap pedals in my carry on bag to boulder on Thursday. These should be fine through security right?

If you carry them on in the packaging case they came in you may be able to get through security faster. When electronic items are in random bags I've found sometimes they take a close look to inspect.

I took my pedals international and then on several flights while abroad and never had one problem. Had them in a separate bag though and had them on top part of my carry on just to help the situation. Should be OK

Absolutely no problem. I'd be more wary of whatever wrench you'll bring to pop them on/off.

I've seen people tag @TSA on Instagram posts asking whether they could carry certain items on. They usually seem to get a response (and a humorous one at that).

Planning on just Allen wrenches. Those shouldn’t be a problem with security I presume.

Yeah, you'll be fine...standard size hex keys are no problem.

I took a long handle T wrench in a checked bag a few times because it was over the size limit. I tried to pop off the pedals on a hotel spin bike but they were sweat welded.
