Campy Shifters w/ SRAM RD & Cassette
Has anybody tried matching Campy levers with a Sram rear derailleur and cassette?

I have a bike w/ 105 and a pair of spare Chorus 10-spd Ergopower levers, so if I pickup a Force rear derailleur it sounds like I can replace the 105s with my Chorus levers.

Here's a link to the Zinn article at Velo News:

I'm not usually one to question Zinn, but I'd be interested to know if others have had success with this.

Thanks,
Victor

Hmmm ... that is interesting. There is a slight difference from the article (3.1mm per click SRAM vs. 3.0mm on Campy), but apparent Zinn says it works.

I'd just run the Jtek shiftmate. I've used one for a couple of years on my old road race bike (Campy shifters I like, but Dura Ace rear and cassette for wheel swap/support) and it shift perfectly once set up.

A lot of people question that article. Consensus was that it can work, but not for everyone. Depending on which gears you use (some people never cross chain), which cassette sizes you use, cainstay length etc.
