He's made a few posts. Had a checkup at Christmas that identified an unexpected issue. He has been doing some training in the run up to the procedure and so good that they've identified it and this hopefully provides him eh confidence to do what he wants to once recovered.

Complete legend of the Ironman world, especially down here. And as a non-kiwi he totally won me over the year his run of IM wins came to an end by sitting on the run course eating a burger and cheering on the Age Groupers still racing. It will bring me great pleasure from getting my arse handed to me by him in age group races for several decades to come ;-)
