I came across this article about Decathlon, a budget gear retailer with some triathlon/running/swimming equipment. Here's their website: https://www.decathlon.com/
I had never heard of them. First, I thought it was a great concept, particularly for people new to the sport. Secondly, I'm a bit of a minimalist (budget-conscious) myself, so I'm thinking of trying some of their stuff (e.g. running apparel, etc.)
Thought I'd post for some discussion -
- Thoughts about budget gear to attract people to the sport?
- Experience with Decathlon? What do you think about their products? (Note: from what I read it's not supposed to be just cheap/low-quality stuff, but rather best price to quality ratio).
