I have the 50 carbon tubular front and back. The wheels are very light which is great for hill climbing or hilly courses. If you're talking aero, I'm no expert, but it feels pretty fast compared to my slightly aero alum wheels. It was worth it especially for the price and customer service was great. I'm planning to get the 85s. I think they have some sales right now.

I have the 58mm I use for racing. I have been very impressed and sold my Easton wheels to go with these. Best decision

I run a 85 rear, 58 front. They are pretty new but no issues and customer service was awesome! Quality is excellent with sapin cx ray spokes and a quality hub. The ghosted logos are really stealth! I'm sure Zipp/ Hed and others are more aero but I can buy 2 wheel combos and a disc for e same price as 1 set of premium wheels.

If you are looking at Boyd I'd also look at Williams Wheels. I have a set of their 85 clinchers and really like them. Its totally your decision though, as I've heard great things about Boyd Wheels. I called both and asked both companies a whole bunch of questions. I impressed with both companies customer service.

Does Boyd make a disc wheel and/or incorporate PT hubs?

I have been riding Zipps for years and was convinced to purchase Boyds last year. Great decision. They feel as good as my Zipps.....and cost a whole lot less. Plus, its pretty cool when you call the number and it's actually Boyd picking up the line at Boyd Wheels. I got the Powertap G3 and it feels so light with my Boyd wheels.

PT hubs, yes. Disc wheels, no.

Actually, we do have a disc wheel available, and just added the option to have it come with the ghosted decals as well. It's both road and track compatible.

Yes, both great companies. The ghost look of the Boyd was the clincher, no pun inteneded, for me having a non-logo black Shiv....
