Thanks, Lars. Great seeing you and meeting Emily. BTW, she wouldn't have to run that fast if she could swim faster ; )

Sorry I couldn't watch more of it. I had a previous commitment. It was so cool to see the line spread out along the diagonal.
Kudos to all who participated. Thanks for speading the joy.

Marky V, in fact, did take the swim prime ... over the likes of Brian Fleishman, Timothy O'Donnell, Cameron Dye, Simon Lessing, and Matty Reed ... who were all seriously gunning for him ... impressive to watch!

Just as impressive, though, was Matt Reed's solid overall performance. He's been racing a ton, is lean, fit, and heading down from altitude for his final Beijing training. He will certainly be in the mix there, and he's got a ton of fans here and elsewhere who be cheering loudly for him.

BTW, Angela Naeth, Boulder peak female Champ ... being coached by none other than Chuckie V. Watch out for this 26 year old Canadian. Oh, Chuckie did double duty today, working bis motorcycle, driving all-star Tri writer and photo guy, Tim Carlson, around the course!

I donno, looks to me like they were seriously gunning to win, as every guy you mentioned beat MarkyV overall, except Cameron Dye.

On the way back to The Springs, Tracy and I were talking about how awesome the 5430 races are. We were both so impressed with how you and Jodee handle the pro meeting/race...first class all the way. Thanks!!
