At the risk of stating the painfully obvious (apologies in advance because I'm sure you've already done this), after transferring your fit coordinates across from your previous bike, can you do a decent amount of riding and work out how forward and low you're prepared to go before you go to the tunnel? Then you don't have to burn through an extra $700 trying out different stack heights and more basic fit issues, and can instead focus on a short predetermined list of small variables like elbow width, what extensions you want (ski-bends?), head and back position, clothing etc. Good luck, and your bike looks phenomenal.

That is what I planned to do with seasons change sometime in the coming weeks. It is roughly finished and had a ride around the parking Lot. I will try to post a few more pics later.

Here are a few more pics for you guy's. I am going to try to move my fit cordinates from other bike over tommorow to dial fit in a bit. if anyone has 7900 front brake and front /rear ders laying around please pm me. I think the bike screams for it. My WIFE even said so :0) there is a pic of baby etting its imbilical cord cut, her first ride, the car ride home and her first bath. cant wait to see her at her first prom to dance with her. sniff....snif......they grow up so fast.

Tai,
I did black out the cranks. what i did was get some wax paper and made a tracing of the cranks red logo. put some eletrical tape on wax paper cut and applied. It worked okay and looks ok but needs something a bit more proffesional.

What kind of bike rack is that? How does it get attached to the back wheel?

It is the BMW factory racks. Think it is made by Thule. There is that wheel wedge and that has a alligator clamp and nylon strap. It really does not need strap as it is pretty stable with just the wedge thingie.

cranks ruin the build.

recommend SRM / SRAM 975s w/ black 54 FST TT ring with the logos blacked out.

Crank is black, SRM sticker over the center part is black, TT ring is black. Also, it's an aerodynamic solution as well.
Just got the chain ring on and will ride later . Thanks to: http://www.fibre-lyte.co.uk/

Looks great!

I had that same Neo Pro TT crank and considered the carbon fiber chain ring. Did you get both the little and big rings? Do you know how much weight it saved you?

The Omega front brake is going to be killer on that bike. I think the final cherry on top would be to ditch that Adamo for a Dash tri.7 saddle. Save 300g!

I can't wait to post some pics of my Triad once I get it and join the Blue crew.

I am going to check the dash out. I saw that on the other build. I did not weigh it before putting on. I did not get the little ring. I was more interested in turning over a higher cadence rather then weight.I do know build was 19lbs on the dot with the sub9 and 1080 race wheels. I can weigh with race wheels and new big ring if you want. Maybe i should get little ring for hillier races just in case.

I second John, the Dash is awesome. Not only super light, but the most comfortable seat I have been on.

bmanners, did you ever decide if you were going to try to cut the base bar grips at the "bend"? I know your bike is together now, but maybe a future mod?

And yes, the Dash saddle is incredibly light, undeniably comfortable for those who like split nose saddles, and down right sinister looking!
