Hello All-
I have a question regarding race specific TT setup. I have been tweaking my TT setup for a while as components and flexibility/ability change. I have plenty of video of me on a trainer from the perfect height, exactly perpendicular to me, that shows a cockpit that is slightly roomier. These pictures are from a TT race (7mi) obviously at max effort. Race time was 16:13. It looks like I move forward significantly on the saddle to accomodate the high cadence and effort. On short races, would it be better for me to move the saddle forward and get a slightly longer stem to lengthen the cockbit to maybe improve breathing? I'm not worried about handling. On longer courses, would I return it to my "moderate effort" setup from the trainer video? Does anyone shift their setup like this? Thanks in advance - Ernie
