Best way to attach water bottle cages?

On an old frame without attachment points for them. I have been using a hydration pack on this bike, but would like to put at least one bottle on it. I realize hose clamps would work, but is there a better way? Paint does not need additional scatches.

Sombody, I think Problem Solvers has a tube clamp to attach various things. Check your LBS or do an online search for Problem Solvers

I too had this problem for a few years. It was an easy fix: zip ties. I just used two zip ties per hole, and criss-crossed them for a secure fit. Worked like a charm!

A pice of scotch tape first - than use normal clamps.
