Best book for a complete bike retard
I've had my bike a couple of months now and have a few hundred miles on it and I just discovered that I probably should be cleaning it.

Whats the best book for someone who doesn't know how to change a flat or get the rear casette off to clean it. I'm looking for the Cliff Notes to the Idiots Guide on Bike Maintenance.

Gracias.

Try Zinn and the art of road bike maintenance.

In the mean time, before you get your book, I'd recommend checking out this site: http://www.parktool.com/..._help/FAQindex.shtml

There's a lot of good (free) information there. I know because I'm in pretty much the same boat as you. Good luck!
