My DA 9spd bar end shifters are suddenly starting to act like friction shifters. Yes, I've got it in the "index" mode rather than "friction". I've only got about 8000 miles on it, which is a drop in the bucket compared to what I put on my 8spd bar ends, so I seriously doubt(hope) that it's not worn out. I plan to take it apart tomorrow and clean it, but remember a harrowing experience when I did that once with my 8spd shifters and had a heck of a time getting everything back and working right. Any helpful hints or can I get an exploded diagram on the web?
