Band Substance Lists, UCI vs. IOC
Are there differences in the UCI vs. IOC band substances lists? I was just wondering which one was more inclusive and followed a stricter testing policy... My guess is the IOC is much more aggressive, but it's just a guess. Anybody know a thing or two about this?

I have no real basis for this, but it seems like the IOC frequently uses whatever standards the ruling body for the sport already has in place unless they are in direct contradiction to existing IOC rules.

The lists should be pretty similar, if not identical, since everyone signed up to WADA

UCI signed up to WADA during the tour, meaning that the only global sport that isn't signed up is soccer.

All sports will now have the same banned list, and all responsibility for random tests will lie with WADA.
