The aussie team, including Courtney Atkinson anchoring the running leg won the Red Bull Giants of Rio, beating the highly touted Brazilian and German teams.

Just more proof, if needed, of the strength of Aussie sports. Interesting to see how many of the top road and track runners suffered running in sand, completely different style. Surf swimming humbled a few top swimmers including Jans Sibbersen who could only muster 14th.
