FYI fellow ST's. I booked my hotel before I booked my entry into the Augusta 70.3, dumb move I know.

The race sold out quickly and even with my begging and pleading I was unable to get a coveted spot in the race.

I believe hotel rooms (at reasonable rates) are scarce. So if you are looking for a room I just canceled the Holiday inn express on Stevens creek. Rate was $139 a night.
