Yeah but only back a few years. I was hoping to do a comparison of times over all years. Or at least back to the early 90's.

I've often been curious about this as well. I think an archive of results from the early 80's on would be gold...

www.xtri.com has the results going back all the way, but usually only lists the top 10 or top 20

Where on xtri, exactly? I couldn't find it on there. I remember at one time my ultimate Ironman goal was to equal (or slightly best) the winning time from the first Ironman. I knew exactly what that time was once, but now I can't remember it. I *think* it was 11:47:something, but I'd like to confirm that.
If my murky memory is correct, I've still got 10 minutes to lop off of my PR! :p

Was looking through those results.......wow! Paula Newbyby Fraser -92 must be one of the most impressive times ever, all categories, both sexes.

For my money, 1988 was more impressive from PNF - finishing 11th overall. Just amazing how good she was.
I don´t know about the conditions or anything but both are just insane.
