cuds - if you'd like I can set up a Yahoo group for us so we can keep it off the forum. We can still use our forum names if people are more comfortable with that.

Another idea I had was setting up a Google spreadsheet where everyone would enter their weight weekly?

Ok I'm jumpin in!! But does anyone have like 15 lbs to lose!? It sounds like most of you are already where I'd love to be!! Also I don't know how to PM you seeing as I'm new to this.

I want to lose about 15 pounds. I think there are a few that want to lose well more than that too (in fact, in the world of Ironman I could probably lose 25, but then my family would wonder why I looked like I had stopped eating haha).

I'd like to lose 12-15 by next August.

OK now I'm seein numbers I can relate to!!! Are there any New Englanders in here? I'm from CT. Always looking for training partners, esp after I get my first tri bike next week- P2C! So psyched! I'll put my beloved steel 7 to pasture except for relaxed cents.

I'll have to see where I am after IMFL, which is when I am signing on.

I have a large frame and I'm fairly muscular. However, right now I am at 175, so I have plenty of junk in the trunk. I'd like to be 160-165. Less than 160 and I start to look sort of gaunt. I got down to 155 once, and it wasn't good. I am a just shy of 5'9".

So I am in the 15 lb club. I used to weigh 260, so I feel okay saying "only" 15 lbs. :)

I am in MA - where in CT are you?

In the tri world I should probably be dropping closer to 20, but I cannot imagine going there.....

I'll play too if I'm allowed.I'm about to age up to 45-49 and thought it was time I did some training.Currently I'm 25lbs over my old race weight from 2005(too much wine and good food).If I hang out with you lot I can shame myself into losing the pudge.

I'll start AFTER my 45th B'day on Thursday.
