Anyone Doing Dairyland/Racine Tri This Weekend?
Should be nice weather, forecast for 70's, water should be in high 60's. Havent seen the roads but heard there are some rough stretches and some hills near end. I'll be there with my humble steed, a black kestrel talon, hoping to survive the swim, fly on the bike and not walk the run.

Yup, I'll be there. The bike course changes from last year will hopefully get rid of a lot of miles in and out of town that weren't all that fun to ride and caused some traffic issues later in the morning. Looks like the new course sorts that out abit. Hopefully my guts have learned to like the new nutrition stuff I'm using and I won't have another terrible "run" split.

Good luck to you.

I'll be there looking forward to a cool weather tri. This is my tune up for IMMOO to make sure nutrition is on. I hope the part of the course they changed take out the section of concrete with those dang expantion joints! Just hope the wind is calm for the start of the swim. Last year just a few swells, but by the time we were on the run there were white caps galore! See ya there!

Yep, count me in too. I rode the course a couple weeks ago - it's definitely an improvement over last year's...although there was some major construction/destruction going on up on Ryan Rd. Couple of rollers to keep it interesting, and the way back into town is a HUGE improvement. Let's just hope it ain't as windy as last year. Perhaps I'll see some of y'all in transition on Saturday during bike drop-off...Litespeed Ultimate w/ Spinergy Rev-X's...name's Mike (mine, not the bike's). Hey Ed...your signature says you've relocated to the 'burbs...whereabouts? I'm up in Gurnee.

Cool...great training out there in the Barrington area. I don't get out that way much unless my club's weekend rides head out there. Great running out there, too...we'll start training out there during the winter to get ready for spring events - Boston, March Madness 1/2, River to River, etc. I'll most likely be sporting my bike club's jersey - Velo Club Roubaix - red/blue/yellow. See ya on the run! Have a great race. MT
