I'm trying to get a better understanding of nutrition along with the effects on my training.
What do you think of the USDA MyPyramid Plan? You enter your age, sex, and activity level. Check it out-->

It seems to me to be missing some valuable statistics for it to be accurate. Such as: specific activity level in hours trained, BMI (Body Mass Index), Glycemic Index, etc.
I realize that this MyPryamid is made for your 'average American' but I'm trying to think of better ways to improve it. What do you think could be added or subtracted to improve it?
