apparently the weather is set to be decent today - some breeze but high of maybe 80.

3 minutes in, kanute and appleton leading comfortably. i really like kanute - he races everything like his ass is on fire. expect him to have some of the best transition times today.

i didn't know much about appleton but he's growing on me, too.

At the last St George - Beakkgard was next to Long in the swim - he is now swimming in front of Blumenfeldt..... he improved a lot!!!

Blummenvelt said that he normally likes to mash the gears on the bike, but that during training here in the hills, he noticed that that style burned his matches quickly, so he was going to try a different high cadence style - he isnt turning gold into iron yet!

kanute destroys T1 and makes time on the bunch; lagerstrom second out onto the bike.

i think in 70.3 now, you need to know how to do transitions like an ITU athlete.
