No doubt. I may have to eat only 2 mince tarts as opposed to my customery dozen.

This time of year, you gotta be creative to stop from gaining weight. On Saturday we are off to Whitby for an extended family brunch. On the way there & back I get to ride my bike. I get a headstart & when my wife & boys catch me in the car, I throw it in the wagon & we continue on the way to "Nana's".

Xmas day I get to do hill repeats (Tobogganing) at Mount Trashmore :-)

You are always welcome & as of now, you are on the site.

What's you reward for making achieving your goal & the dire consequence for not?

Hi Speedy

I did my weigh in this past weekend and as of Dec. 19 I'm, at the least, a hefty 186lbs. You can add me to the list too. My dire consequences if I don't hit my goal will be a sucky run at Muskoka and no IMLP :( The opposite is also true. If I reach my goal of 165-166 then look for a smoking fast run at Muskoka.

Please count me in too. Better late than never. I did IMC this summer at least 40 lbs heavier than I should have been. Lots of donuts since then and I think I'm up a good 10 lbs.

I'll weigh in at the gym today or tomorrow, but in the mean time:

Goal: -20lbs by April 13 (my birthday)

Final Goal: -50 lbs

Location: Victoria, BC

Consequence of not reaching my goal: still giving it some thought

Let me know your details & I'll gladly add you to the list.

Ottomann Still at 187 on Monday. (all 3 doughters made cookies)

No more excuses though

Listen, Lupus, you didn't come into this life just to sit around on a dugout bench, did ya? Now get your ass out there and do the best you can.

Be careful about what excuses you post. There are some that will really let you have it on here. :-)

ottoman...as in the thing you rest your feet on...fitting for a fellow chubbster now isn't it...get down on your hands and knees and you're all soft and pudgy (from eating cookies made by your children..they better have been at least choc chip...rstocks favourite) and someone lean and fit can rest their tired legs (from doing something other than running to the kitchen for another glass of milk to wash down cookies with) on your back.
Now drop the cookies and the excuses and do something. It's hard enough this time of year to dodge the indulgences. What kind of wussie excuse are you going to use come mid season when you're still fighting to lose the weight you could have avoided putting on at Christmastime? Huh? What then? When those in your age group that trained all winter are laughing at you as the medical van trails behind you at the end of the race to make sure you don't die? What then Mr.Footstoolman?
Wa wa wa..someone call the waaaambulance.;-)

on Ebay? Riiight. Getting your money back for them so you can buy another pair later is hardly compensation for not losing your goal weight. Sorry sailor..gonna have to do better than that. I say you have to sell them to rstocks for the cost of shipping..if you fail and he succeeds.
