Cool, the number on the scale only give you weight, not body composition. Have you had your % BF tested recently?

I haven't had the fat checked, but my mom has one of the hand held devices that I need to borrow. I know they aren't the most accurate, but I think they are consistant. It will be interesting to see how it changes between now and IMCDA.

I'm back in blue, baby! 166 Woo Hoo!!!

It was suggested that I post my rewards/consequences. I'm going for a 15 # loss by the end of April. If I don't get there, then I will race in the cold, cold waters of Milton for the sprint in early June. Brrrrrrrr! (I *do not* want to do that race!) If I do reach it and keep it off, then I'm going shopping for a whole new wardrobe!

Great job to all you losers out there! :)

Cold? The watre was a beautiful 66F last year...c'mon, Cobourg in August only got up to 72F...you should race Milton regardless.

I am at 168. Either lost one pound or none. I have been training and even watching what I am eating! I am getting very frustrated.

I've done it twice and both times were between 58 and 60. As I was getting in the water for a "warm-up" I kept thinking to myself "Why am I putting myself through this torture?". I'm really just a big-old wimp when it comes to being cold. Of course, if our current weather continues, then the water might be a balmy 80 degrees by June!

Down to 204 lb this week. That's 4lb lost since last Monday. Down a total of 13 lbs since December 26 when I started this challenge at 217 lbs. Finally I am starting to feel very healthy and what little training I have done (4-5 hours per week) has been a breeze. I am not feeling fit yet - but that will come with a little more exercise :-)

Still eating pretty much only Paleo-friendly foods.

Cheers, Paul C

What is the link to the webpage keeping track? I don't want to dig through 22 pages to find it again. Thanks.

I'd like to join the challenge.

I'm 5'5" and 183 pounds.

My "dire consequence" is that if I don't lose 30 pounds by July, I won't fit into my tri suits. Since I'm already registered for the Cleveland Triathlon, I'd have to do it in my maternity swimdress because the swimdress is the only large-sized swimsuit I own. (For you men who don't know what a maternity swimdress looks like, here's a link to a catalog picture: http://www.duematernity.com/bohamasw.html )

If I lose the weight, being able to wear my tri suit would be reward enough.

BTW, is there a summary sheet somewhere so we can see what everyone's rewards and consequences are?

this seems to be the weight gain challenge for me, 127 today...but didn't work out all week, BIG exam starting tomorrow, takes precedence...
oh, BF at 29% yesterday ahahhhhhhaahahaha...
BMI 20!!
(anyway, 123 was as low as I was all year, don't think I'll even get back there, especially not if I up the training considerably (makes me gain weight usually))

Mon morn weight: 202. Bad Paul, bad! Good news is that ribs are now officially healed after running half-marathon yesterday pain-free.

Consequence of failure: no hockey tickets until goal reached (which also means less beer and bad food).
