Welcome

What's your current weight? Do you have past weeks?

Got your consequence, but what's your reward?

Ciao,

Weighed in this morning...at 203 lbs. Not bad for one run in close to 20 days over the christmas break (on vacation in Florida)...only put on 5 lbs over the break...and now off it comes.

It defies even my own understanding, but I binge a lot less than I used to. Christmas dessert was replaced with a long run.

Very impressive!

I had a blast these last few holiday weeks. Got back from Mexico yesterday, where I appear to have put on 3lbs, but I got myself a nice tan as well :)

Speedy: put down my last two weigh-ins as 128.

Happy New Year Speedy and fellow losers!

169.8 again. I'll take it considering how much I ate & drank. Time to get serious. 1lb per week for 10 weeks (159.8) and I will still have 4 weeks until Powerman. That will be 24.2 lbs in 14 months.

Time to mix in a few greens.

Listen, Lupus, you didn't come into this life just to sit around on a dugout bench, did ya? Now get your ass out there and do the best you can.

How often are you all weighing yourselves? I got on the scale Sunday and was tempted to again today, but I'm going to try to stick to once a week. Good idea or bad?

I have heard that weighing yourself more than once a week is not a good idea. Don't remeber why though.

The only argument I have heard for that is it can be demoralizing if you gain a pound or two as part of normal weight flucuation, but being an engineer I like lots of data, easer to spot statistical trends and such :)

That being said I am only weighing in on Monday's because I'm too busy to do it more frequently right now.

Ohhh, lots of data to crunch... um, I mean, how do you find the time?

A reason not to weigh in too frequently is the potentially demoralizing impact of fluctuations. I had to resist the urge to weigh-in on Tuesday night. I caught some sort of stomach flu and spent most of Monday evening tossing my cookies and couldn't eat (or train ... crap) on Tuesday. By Tuesday evening I felt better but really weak and probably was down a few pounds that have likely come back by now so I'm glad I didn't check then :)
