2018 Specialized Sitero Pro Saddle
I was lucky enough to get my hands on the new Sitero Pro Saddle.

I haven't had a chance to test it out yet, but i wanted to post some pictures for anyone who was interested.

Initial impressions:

- The saddle looks like the bastard child of the original Sitero and the Power saddle.

- Has more padding than the Power saddle. I would compare it to the padding of the adamo attack saddle.

- The shell is nylon/plastic and not carbon fiber.

- The nose of the saddle is textured with raised little bumps. (I'm assuming its to prevent sliding)

- The saddle comes with a transition hook and reserve rack.

Thank you for sharing. My problem (for me) with the original Sitero was that I naturally sat too far back on it.

I wonder how this compares to my Cobb JOF 55?

Thanks for pics of the newest version. I would like to try that thing out on my road bike. I hate the nose on the Power and would love something the same shape without the curled up nose.

Not sure how to measure flatness, but its a fairly flat on the top.

Its flatter than the Power Saddle, if that helps at all.

I felt the same way about the Power saddle. I liked the shape and feel of the power saddle, but the nose was not comfortable. It was too thin and (as you mentioned) curled up.

The nose of this saddle is much wider in the nose and not curled.

Very interesting! Thanks for posting. The wing profile actually looks more like a Power Arc than a Power saddle, which I like. I used the Power for a while on the tri bike, but the wing profile was too square-edged for me. The Power Arc fixed that, but the nose is still a bit too narrow and the cutout isn't quite large enough for me. This saddle looks like it addresses everything I don't like about the Power Arc. Any idea if it will be available in different widths? The one in the photo looks like it's 155mm wide. I'd need one in 143mm.

I'm in The US and was able to get one from someone in the UK.

Used it a little but it just didn't seem to work for me. I've been using the Power in my tri bike and I'm liking it better. The Sitero II is a beautiful saddle and the bottle mount is amazing; puts the bottles in a great, easy to reach and aero-looking position.

May be looking to sell it. I'm desperate for it to work but I just don't think it will.

Interesting. It was available on the Specialized website in late July/early August. I just went to their website and see the old Sitero now. I had ordered and received my Sitero in time to dial it in for IM LOU. I like it, it isn’t magic but it is the best I’ve found for me. I would e-mail specialized and ask. I have found them to be fairly responsive to inquiries.

Good news...their website is not updated, but the new version is the 2019 Saddle. I called my bike store with the model number from the Canadian website. 27118-1600. They said they see plenty at their distributor....put me on hold, and then came back and said they have one on the shelf. I picked it up this p.m. So......they are available. Perhaps specialized is trying to move through the older model before updating their website. If your LBS can't get it, let me know and I will give you the number of mine.

Sounds like you have the power too nose up.
It ought to be set so that the "nose" is horizontal, with a slight ramp on the rear aspect.
If the rear is flat, then it is rotated too far back.

I totally get what you're saying, but I *feel* the Power saddle is a bit more scooped than flat which negates that. It's basically rotated far enough up that I stop falling off the front. The tip of the nose is fairly flat, but then the center is scooped a little until it goes back to the slightly ramped up rear. It's more the minor 'U' shape causing pressure up front when trying to rotate forward. I found the Shimano Pro Stealth to be better (flatter) for me and now I have about 8 saddles to get rid of.

Chiming in late on this. Has anyone used the Version 1 Sitaero and also tried the 2018 version? I’ve had the old version since 2015 but took a look at the rails and I’ve bent the left side quite noticeably. My wife says too many train tracks, my coach says it’s my fat ass. Anyways, I need to replace it and wondering how the new version compares to the original model from a few years ago.
