I know it has come up a lot, but I want to know if anyone has personal verification that the 2012 FD/2011 Shifters is perfectly fine (I know it's not "optimal", but oh well). If I get the 2012 FD I'm definitely going with the 2012 chainrings, as that is a small-ish change.

Reason: I want to get the 2012 RED Quarq because why get the 2011 SRAM Quarq, which is (slightly) less accurate device with less functionality, when you can get better for a few bucks more.

And if anyone has actually run the set-up of 2012 RED Quarq with Yaw FD and 2011 shifters, please respond as that would be awesome. Thanks all.
