If only my lbs had some... They said they had 1 DA at the end of last month but that it went out the door in less than 24 hours. Now I have to wait another month until they get some more. >_<

Very nice. I see on your website that you have the Argon 112. Do you have them in stock?

Did you build that display or does Cervelo make those?

The P3C paint job is funky, but I like it!

We have some the argons on order, but the carbon tri bikes are not available until the end of January. Even more elusive than cervelos...

Cervelo was gracious enough to send the display to us for free.

All we had to do was promise to make at least 5 "random" posts about Cervelo on Slowtwitch per day.

P2C's are "movin" like no bike we've ever had.
We have numerous P2C's pre-sold and can barely keep any on the floor to display.
Luckily, we ordered a lot of them and are looking good supply wise (especially now that they are flowing in volume from Cervelo).

It's 75 and sunny again here today. Are you going to make another mid-winter "business trip" to Austin this year?

Don,

Finally, people are catching on to the value and performance of the Cervelo P2C. Dollar for dollar, can there be a better bike on the market?

Winter has started hard and fast here. I difinately will be in need of a mid winter break at some point.

Please sell lots of those bikes. That way, I figure around income tax return time all the '07 models will be available cheap via the classifieds and eBay. I'm thinking I want to buy a used frame/fork for about a grand.

Yeeaaaaaaah(said in Office Space voice), goood luck with that plan.

I've seen 3 year old "gently used" P2 SL framesets go for more than that.

Well, then clearly people are not shopping around. I've seen complete P2K/SL bikes go for less than a grand. If I had the money now I could have had a P2C frame/fork off eBay this past weekend for less than $1500. When the new bikes start to flood the market I expect it will be easier.

"If I had the money now I could have had a P2C frame/fork off eBay this past weekend for less than $1500. "

So for $1500 you could get a used 2 year old blue frameset with the old Wolf TT fork. (and "I'm usually a 54 but I think I can make that 56 work")

Or.... you could walk into a bike shop and get a properly fitted brand new frameset for $1800 (and that's before you arm wrestle the owner for 10% off).

I don't think there are a flood of P2C's out there waiting to show up on e-bay just because a new color showed up.
Is somebody (or a flood of bodies) really going to dump their year old white w/red Chrissie W. edition P2C just because they gotta have the new white w/red swoop 2008 model?

When the quantum leap P3C came out, P3SL's held up nicely on their resale value (and still do).

A big test will be next year when the P4C comes out (wishful hoping)

With the popularity of the p2c I would be very suprised if any LBS would discount the 10%. It seems if you wanted the frameset you could by the bike complete and sell the components and probably would be out of pocket less then the amount of the frameset. Not that I would want the hassle to sell all the parts.

A shop near me is trying to sell last years p2c with 105 components at a "rock bottum" proce of $2,600. I am still amazed how well the prices are holding up for used cervelo's on ebay when the new ones are such a good value.

Peace,
RF

All these posts and pics of the 2008 are driving me crazy! I ordered my 08 P2C Ultegra 4 weeks ago. Has anyone received their Ultegra P2C yet? or are the DA's the first to the shops?
