'09 Felt B2R or '10 Cervelo S3?
Hi, I'm racing 2 half ironmans(oceanside and Muskoka) and am debating which bike I should use? Which bike would be faster on each course

I`m planning on using the Felt for oceanside but would change bikes if I thought it would save me a few minutes. Muskoka 70.3 is the one where I`m really torn on which bike would be faster given the hilly course...

I`ll be riding the S3 with a forward set post at about 77 degrees if that matters with Hed Clip Lites.

Any advice is welcomed!

Thanks

Go with which one you think looks cooler. In terms of speed it would only be a few seconds and impossible to tell for sure which one would come out on top. Both are aerodynamic frames that (hopefully) should allow you to get in the position you want to.

Comfort should be your first decision point. Which feels more natural.

For me, I'm way more comfy hung out in my areobars than I've ever gotten on the roadie. Just haven't been able to match that feel, even with the clipons.

Muskoka is a tri bike course. I ride in the area a lot both on a tri and road bike and my tri is definitely faster.

with much shame I must actually recommend you NOT ride the cervelo

ride the tri bike

because these are triathlons

and the felt b2r is a totally sweet tri bike
