Other than paint, are there any differences between the '03 Soloist frame and the new ones?

I believe the newer Soloist Team is a touch lighter.

I think the cervelo website has a list of changes over the years. I think between 03 and 05 there were a number of improvements and of course the ano finish.

The weight savings I think (but may be wrong) is from a single pass weld and the lack of paint.

I thought so too. I know '03 was the first year to get the Smartwell 2 tubing. I wasn't sure about some of the other technologies mentioned in the '8 grams' slideshow that is on the Cervelo website.
A few minor differences but the main difference would probably be about 50% of the cost.
