The doc is starting me on Imuran this week - just wondering if anyone else out there has been on it. Although it suppresses the immune system, he claims it doesn't typically leave you more susceptible to sickness and infection. But as endurance athletes since we are always running our bodies down as it is it does worry me a bit, not to mention the other list of side effects he reeled off.
In any case, anybody out there been on this drug and have any issues with it, especially regarding tri-training? Any docs who have an opinion as well - any insight would be appreciated.
