So, if you read my post you'll note that I said to ignore shipping weight (likely includes packing material). Walmart provides user reviews which are shockingly positive for this bike - - and one user reports that after his cycling buddies were done laughing at him, they weighed it and it weighs 19.7 lbs...which I think is less than my all-carbon Felt (which feels like a truck compared to my bf's Cannondale Slice)

My bad, didn't read that the first time around.
I just built my friends 600 dollar bike he ordered tonight. He just wanted something decent to ride, not looking to ever race, just a fun source of exercise and transportation.
I was pretty impressed with the component set.

Called a Gavin Accele.. frame looked decent to me, welds look good. Components are pretty slick for $600 bucks. Only thing i changed on his was putting some better bar tape on to help with the comfort. The bike is very stiff and responsive, feels solid, brakes well and seems to be a damn good deal to me..
