"Views that inspire us" the definitive thread (update)
My favourite posts are those that show great images of where we ride...there have been some fantastic pictures that trully inspire.....in much the same way as the Hottie Thread brought all those images together on one thread why not have one for images of where we ride from all over the world????

It would be great if they were all posted here rather than on seperate threads so we can just look through these pages as opposed to missing out on great images on older posts etc etc.

I hope you all agree.....here's mine (I have edited this post to include the image now...I have access to a pc)

Taken the other day on the road from Sotogrande to Castellar in Andalucia, Southern Spain. That's the sea mist rolling in assisted by an easterly wind. The Mediterranean Sea is only a couple of km's from this spot and this is a great, hilly cycling route....th The roads are signposted around here saying 'Caution. You are entering into a cycling route' - more or less as it translates.

This particular spot is only about 190m above sea level but it looks like the high mountains. The mountains in the distance are another great cycling area....Gaucin, Ronda, Casares....all those areas. I truly live next to perfect cycling roads...great condition roads and loads of cyclists.

This view always makes me want to get out and ride in the morning. There's just something about the sun breaking through the clouds that always inspires. Taken in the morning last summer in Crested Butte, CO.

Callidus....excellent pictures....as a designer I can say they are worthy of the Getty's and Corbis's of our industry....professionall picture libraries.....these will make my snapshot of my ride the other day (which Jay will hopefully post for me soon) look very much like a snapshot!!!!!

Thanks for sharing. Those are amazing images. There is something, truly, awe inspiring about being either high in the mountains or on water.

I find great peace up here, camping under the stars with my wife and dogs. That is once the dogs are done swimming and making noise all day!

Then there is fly fishing at Lake Alpine over Ebbet's Pass:
