Justin is insanely talented and a total class act...Max who ended up winning that TT is now racing professionally (again).

I live (and used to race in Norcal)- I have seen Justin go from the strong newbie to a very high quality rider.
I must say that I am humbled by watching this- Lots of drive. No excuses.

And a great guy to boot. Hope it's his year.

4:20 in the 500 free....and his ride yesterday included 3 hours @ 303 watts (~4 w/kg), absolute beast.

Rossi swam in college....and he's most likely faster on the bike than any triathlete age grouper (maybe ever, maybe top 10 ever?).

I'd really like to see him smash Kona and beat a few lower level pros :).

I know he did his first triathlon last summer and got 2nd overall. He was 2nd out of the water (by like 10 seconds) then had the fastest bike split by 10 minutes (40k)...then ran like 8:30-9 min miles for second place :).

Supposedly he had only ran 4 miles at a time before that race.

Is there any kind of aquabike world championships? This dude would crush it.

How do those times compare to male pros? I know that's not as fast as Andy Potts, but what about a "good" pro swimmer?

I'm guessing his bike split would rival pros.

In the ride feed just search on "rossi". He's the one with an FTP of 375.

He just spanked the field in Utah including a 2-10 bike split

I was pushing >4 W/kg up Snow Canyon and the guy came by me like I was a piker on a huffy.

Amazing to think LS was 6+ minutes ahead of his time given what Rossi puts out for power.

Rossi was 312 average at 76-77 kg. So call it 4.1

Lionel was probably around 5.0 (70kg w/ 350 AP) but that's just my best guess

I saw an article he wrote (can't recall where) and he mentioned being 175 pounds chasing guys up hill. Anyone know how tall he is?

He took the KOM today on the first part of the bike segment. Pretty impressive stuff, that video was awesome.
