Almost complete with the build up of my commuter bike and I am having second thoughts about the brake levers I used and I'm wondering if anyone can compare another option for me. The frame is an early 90's with down tube shifters so I went with the super cheapo Nashbar Aero Brake Levers. I have used them a few times and they are tiny and terribly uncomfortable. So I am wondering if anyone can compare what I have to the Tektro R200 or Cane Creek SCR-5 (apparently the R200 and SCR-5 are the same lever just branded differently). Looking at the pictures on-line the grip area of the Tektro is much larger, so I asked posed this question to Nashbar using their chat feature, but they didn't know. Does anyone have experience with the Tektro/Cane Creeks?
