Which one should I target as my 'A' race for this season. They are too close together to peak for both, so I need to make a choice
Newfoundland 70.3 - July 28
Halifax OneOOne - Sept 1.
I'm thinking maybe using Halifax as my A race, and just using Newfoundland as a long training day. I just have nothing to compare to for the 101 distance. I at least have a 70.3 PR (from Ralphs), so It makes more sense to me to peak for Newfoundland. But if I peak for Newfoundland and race it hard, it will take a few days to a week to recover, and I like having my season goal race to be my last race.
What would you do.
