I love it when I get to do a 4 hour ride after a long day at work (and when the sun goes away for that ride after it's been sunny all day).

I love it when I open what I think is going to be a so-so bottle of wine and it turns out to be really good.

I also love it when I'm feeling heavy, but get on the scale and see that I've lost a pound or two. (this doesn't happen very often.)

I love it when I have to spend more money on my bike prior to IMWI.

This time it was new tubulars for the race wheels I bought from the classifieds. I know having new tires will bring my piece of mind come race day but dang, they are pricey.

I LOVE IT WHEN I CAN SWIM!!!!!!!!

swam for the first time in a month++, getting back from injury.

I love it when I am sitting on the couch and I lean forward (i.e.: elbows on knees) and my BF puts his hand on the bare small of my back (under my shirt). That's it. I don't know why but it's a slice of heaven to me.

I love it when I get to go to the velodrome. Like today--all day. In the sun and the heat. Riding my bike. A PR in one event. A good time in another event. A perfect day.
