thanks andy & themadcyclist - i'm mostly torqued about missing swims, because i've made some good progress in the past year through consistency and i don't want to lose it. might try tonight but eye socket is still really tender and i only got 4hrs of sleep last night, so not sure.
i have been working pushups - actually hit 20 on monday (and again yesterday), so i guess my goal is achieved! wrist isn't complaining as long as i use the grips, and i've actually been able to do some mountain climbers with my hands flat on the floor, so there's improvement. if i'm feeling ballsy i might try a couple of modified pushups without the grips to see how it goes, but i know i'm not ready to go full weight for standard pushups on the wrist yet without grips.
