Is Caffeine really bad for bone density? I know that carbonation can leach calcium, so I severely cut back on diet coke. Now I hear that caffeine in any form (coffee, tea, soda) is bad for bone density. I know that everything in moderation is ok, but as a young female that has to worry about bone density I dont want to take any chances! Should I cut it out completely? Do the negatives of caffeine consumption outweigh the positives? With all the training volume I love caffeine and can drink coffee all day, but dont want early onset osteoporosis!
