I've had some interest from some customers in having a couple of Brooks saddles in-house so people can borrow them and try them out. It seems like a nice service idea, but since Brooks seem to be known for having (needing?) a break-in, I'm wondering if it would be practical. If I loan a customer a saddle for a couple of weeks, are they going to break it in and ruin the feel for someone else, or does it not really matter? Maybe Proofide it and be done?
Do any of you loan out Brooks saddles to interested customers?
Also, aside from the B17, are there any particular models you would recommend?
