Don't believe the Firecrest hype - this wheel is incredibly fast and is still faster than nearly anything you'll see on the front end of any bike. I've raced Firecrest 808s and this is still my favorite front wheel.
This wheel has never been crashed or abused.
It's always traveled in a wheel bag.
I've always used cork brake pads on it
Has seen action in ~12 sprint/Olympic distance triathlons
I am the second owner of this wheel but the first owner wiped this thing with a diaper cloth - except for the sticker breaks noted.
I noted a couple of breaks in the stickers. These are very small and only surface. They are not scratches.
I am selling this wheel because I'm moving to clinchers - I just don't feel like dealing with tubies and cork brake pads any longer.
>> The only thing I don't like about this setup is that TUFO tape was used to mount the tire. I have had zero issues with it holding but search the forums you'll see a hell storm of information dedicated to TUFO tape. I'd rather just buy a clincher wheel than worry about stripping this wheel and remounting with Mastick.
