I have Elite T-Class 2004 frameset (~2.6 lbs frame) in great shape with Reynolds Ouzo Pro Aero fork and Chris King headset. Size is medum (~55-56 top tube). Painting is nice - black with white/silver lettering and small yellow stars. It is currently build with Dura Ace 9 speed components that I can take off. The frameset can go for $700 shipped. I can throw also Thomson Elite seatpost cut for this frame.

I've got a S-Works Specialized Transition (not carbon frame, the aluminum one...but has carbon fork) with Dura-Ace 7800 cranks (172.5), DA brakes, DA 10-speed bar end shifter, and DA derailleurs (10-speed). Has Vision aluminum base bars and aero bars, and vision aero brake levers. Arundel aero bottle and cage and Polar CS600 with wireless Power unit (train and race with power!) and Mavic open pro wheels with ultegra hubs and ultegra 12X25 cassette (hopefully you have your own race wheels to really go fast) for $2K - great, near mint condition...I built it up last year and rode it about 10-times. Yah, the T14 is aluminum with a carbon rear triangle, seatpost and fork. It weighs about 20 lbs. with a mostly stock Ultegra build. I'm like you, I want the full carbon, but I'm pretty happy with it.

Have you looked at the PlanetX? Last year you could get their full carbon TT bike (I think they call it a Stealth something) for right at $1000.
