Pick up a MTB bar and cut it in half. I found a nice Easton at Performance for $9.99 closeout...worked like a charm. At least its an inexpensive way to see if it works for you. Some might find the wrist angle uncomfortable. ________________________________________________________________________ "that which does not destroy me will only make me stronger" Frederick Nietzsche andrew peabody http://BREAKAWAYMULTISPORT.COM
I like my hands below my elbows. I put a 1/2" nylon washer on the pads so the s-bend would be below my elbows. I think the straight extensions would work great without the washers under the pads.
The only thing is that the extensions have to be LONG!! I have long arms and like to hold the shifters in the palm of my hand. Hopefully they make a mtn bar LONG!! : ) . . Paul
