My girlfriend wants to do her first tri (a sprint) this fall. She’s currently bikeless, and although she’s just aiming to complete, I’d like to get her something workable and enjoyable enough to ride a couple hours a week and race on. Anyone near NYC have a size 51 road bike they’re willing to part with for under $500? Aluminum, rim break, 10+ years old, 105, etc… as long as it’s in ok condition and the group set is working alright, I’m interested!
