I got mine today and went for a run. First of all - amazingly fast shipping! Two days from ordered to received. Secondly - A very nice shirt. Dried fast, and kept me cool. The pocket is small (will hold a key or a very small mp3). And overall the sizing ran small. I'm typicall a M to L, so I ordered the XL and it fits perfect. The XL is smaller than some L's that I own. Still, a great shirt, I'm very happy with it. (I'd actually like to see the sizing adjusted, because if this was swag at a race, I would've signed up for a medium or large, and then it would've been too small).

Maybe. Some of this stuff is really up to you guys, the triathlon community. Tell us what you think is lacking, what you would like to see. We'll supply it. That's not to say we don't have our own ideas ; > ) We are triathletes wanting to design for triathletes. A lot of the stuff we buy is designed for runners, bikers, or swimmers. We like stuff designed for us! Anyway, enough with the rant.

I really like the shirt. Personally, I'd like to see some fun colors and designs. Can't go wrong if it has a monkey on it. And maybe some sleeveless tops or tri jerseys?

I got my shirts Wednesday and got a chance to run in one yesterday. Here are my comments...

Size:

As mentioned already it runs a little small, I ordered a large instead of a medium and it fit great :-)

Cut:

I have no idea why the panels are cut the way they are...all I know is it works, the cut/fit is super comfortable. I did have to remove the tag first thing, I could feel it rubbing against my side. It would have driven me crazy had I run with it like that.

Material:

Simply put...it feels great, and works.

Design:

I love the way this shirts looks, from the logo to the single red arm band (I'm wearing my extra one to work today to show it off). If you make changes to the design that's fine but please KEEP THE ORIGINAL DESIGN AS AN OPTION!!! I really hate it when I find some I like (especially shoes) and the company decides to changes it!!! I know it's progress, but sometimes the new design simply sucks!!! Improvements are great (I'll suggest a couple) but you have a winner here, so please make sure it's available to ones of us that like it just the way it is...

Color:

I love the white, it's the only color shirt I like to run in.

Suggestions/Improvements:

Go tag less, I really don't like taking the risk of damaging my brand new shirts to cut an annoying tag out.

Add a button hole to the inside panel of the pocket, it would be great to run the ear phone wire through on our MP3 players (I always put the wire inside my shirt, usually up from the bottom).

To summarize:

It's simply the best $12.00 I've spend!!!

I'm ordering more today :-)

Regards,
Sonny

Thanks for the great review!

No tag - you got it. Next batch will have no tag.

Button hole - if possible, will do it in the next batch.

Will also adjust sizes in the next batch.

We will always keep this design as an option, no worries.

Have a great workout!

Steven

If they run small will it not be too tight?

It depends on your body type and how you like the shirts to fit. The shirt is not designed to be overly big and should fit semi-tight. Here's a pic that may or may not show how it fits. I can always accept returns if you're not satisfied.

Thanks for the interest!

Not sure about anybody else, but I don't like white workout shirts as the yellowing under the arms seems to be much more visible than with the other shirt colors. When do you expect to get other colors and do you have any plans to have the other sleeve done in red (that would look better to me)??

I did 13.5 yesterday and 13.5 today with my shirt, and it was great. I got 2 for myself, then went ahead and bought one for the wife (because she was jealous) and another 2 for some runner friends of mine. I ran with a long sleeve cotton shirt over it (in NYC, still a little chilly here), and even as the sweat started to get soaked into the cotton shirt, outer-layer, your shirt stayed dry and comfortable underneath. Great buy.

Our next shipment will be in colors. Black will be one of them. I want to avoid the neon colors, however ; > p

Okay, I wore my second shirt today and just like the first one it was great. So now between my wife and I we have three very smelly shirts. We usually wash all our running stuff together no matter what, different colors whatever, always in the washing machine. Since these were pretty new white shirts we decided to do them in separate batch of whites. As always we did our own thing without reading the cleaning instructions. So we machine washed them (cold water) and threw them in the dryer (medium heat) for a tumble. The medium (my wife's) shirt came out just like new...mine (large) on the other hand had a problem. It appears the logo stained the surrounding area of the shirts (see picture below). We don't know if this happened in the washer or dryer!?!? The weird thing is it only happened on the large shirts, the medium shirt was fine. Since I'm pretty sure they are manufactured and logoed in different batches maybe the logo ink was applied a little differently, or was a different ink, or something!?!? Either way I have two shirts that look less than nice at this point. I will still use them and to be honest no one could even notice the stains as I ran by them, but still they are new longer nice :-(

Please understand I am not in anyway trying to say something is wrong with the shirts, their quality or the manufacturing process. I really liked them yesterday and I still really like them now. I just want to make everyone aware of this so maybe they can avoid the same thing happening to them!!!!

FOLLOW THE LAUNDERING INSTRUCTIONS...I'M SURE THEY'RE ON THERE FOR A REASON :-)

I will definitely buy these shirts again, maybe in a color next time ;-)

Regards,
Sonny

Sorry about that guys! Unfortunately polyester is a plastic and doesn't do well in a dryer : > (. I'll be happy to replace it though! Send me a PM.

Later,

Steven

Steven,

No need for you to replace the shirts, it was my mistake for not reading the label...remember I cut it out :-) I'll know better next time, and hopefully the post will be a warning to others. I ordered two more the other day...I'll take better care of those!!

Sonny

Well i just got my XL in the mail this afternoon. I figured since im not built too big, it might work, but at 6-5 205 its just not gonna be big enough. Barely makes it past my navel, and the arm holes are too small.
I'll probably have to give it to my sister or someone who is say... normally a medium.

If i had one thing to change tho, without even running in it, theres too many seams under the arms- tons of potential for chafing
Kinda bummed it dosent fit, seems like an awesome shirt for an awesome price

Got 3 shirts in today(1 is going to a friend). I wear medium for most brands, the large fit perfect. Though the sleeve wth the red accent has a larger opening than the all white sleeve. is this normal?

Shouldn't be normal. Will send another one out to you. Send me PM.

...sorry for the delayed feedback, I have been traveling quite a bit, but, here are my impressions of this shirt....
...with that being said, this shirt has become my 'go-to' shirt lately. My first impressions were that the fabric was really soft. I think another posted that the fabric felt "expensive". I couldn't agree more. Based off the intial feel quality, the shirt felt like it should cost more than what it does. Appearance wise, I like the minimalist quality, but, thats just me. I tend to gravitate towards the no frills, no major impeding logos, no tricked-out color scheme kind of stuff. I just want quality, at a decent price without all the hoop-la. This shirt met my needs. I liked the red cuff on the sleeve, again the minimalist thing.
The ride experience... Again, the shirt has a good feel against the skin and has a tight weeve so, no sticking to body hair. Intially, I did not like the sleeve cut, I thought it was too big and cut a little feminine. Once running though, I actually like the way it is cut. I dont know why but, the sleeves feel natural. Being a tad-bit bigger allows more air-flow, that felt good. I was sent a large, I usually wear a medium but, this was a good size-not too big, not too small, perfect for me as I have a bigger chest and shoulders than my rail-skinny tri-friends. The length is good, I like the more ergo cut at the bottom with a little tail on the back-side.
Also, I like the key holder stitched into the side. I thought maybe I could use it to hold a my ipod, it certainly fit but, the weight of the ipod caused the shirt to swing. The pocket is perfect for a key or something small and light like some cash or what have you.
Overall, the shirt is a better shirt than most of the shirts I have owned or tried on. The quality is far-superior than some more expensive shirts.
The only thing I would change if I was given the chance, I would weeve silver thread thoughout to make it odor-free. Another sponsor-given shirt from 180's has done this and that shirt is my favorite longsleeve. I can wear the shirt day-to-day and not worry about stinking to bad on the third day.
Would I buy this shirt at $12? Absolutely! ...that is a really good deal for a very good quality piece of training equipment.
Thanks and I will be happy to try more products...good work so far!
Kevin
