I built this frame up new back in April and used it in about 4 time trials and 1 duathlon along with the occasional training ride. The frame is Felt’s amazing aluminum Airo frame. When you push on the pedals, this bike really flies!!! Everything is in like new shape with no scratches (except for a few on the crank arms). I’ve had people at races come up and complement me just on how the bike looks!
The bike has a new Ultegra 10 speed drivetrain with Truvativ’s lightweight 2-piece carbon cranks. Looking at the cockpit, you’ll find the renown Syntace C2 ultralight aerobars on a Stratos base bar with Dura Ace shifters and very responsive Cane Creek 200 TT brake levers. The aerobars include a computer mount and a spare set of armrest pads. The wheels are fast and aero Ritchey deep section with bladed spokes. I picked out all of these components based on their weight and performance.
I’ve set the bike in a very aggressive position for Olympic distance bike events, but it can easily be fit for a more comfortable long course position. For more information on geometry, go to Felt’s site:
The reason I’m getting rid of the bike is that I got a Kuota Kalibur for my birthday.
