FS: Litespeed Sirius Frame w/ Ouzo Pro Fork - 55cm
Quote | Reply
I am selling my Litespeed Sirius Frameset. It is a size 55 (Large), Aluminum Frame with Carbon/TI Seatstays. Included is a Reynolds Ouzo Pro Integrated all carbon fork. Geometry information can be found here:

http://www.litespeed.com/...sirius_geometry.html

More info on the bike can be found at Litespeeds Website:

http://www.litespeed.com/2003/bikes/sirius.html

(the fork show on the website is NOT the one I have)

The fork has enough steerer tube left to add spacers (probably up to ~25mm, depending on the stem you use). Steerer tube extension is shown in the 'Fork' pic.

BACKGROUND:

I bought the bike from eBay in March 2004 used. I rode it for the rest of 2004, 2005, very little in 2006 (thesis and moving), and lightly last year. Sad to say, this bike saw less than 3000 miles in my ownership.

There is what I consider to be 'normal wear' - occasional rock chips, cable and component rub - these are slight, and do not effect the performance. There is one dent, as noted below.

The bike does have a dent in the downtube (see pics below - underside of the downtube, somewhat to the non-drive side - under the 'pe' in the decal). IT HAS BEEN THIS WAY SINCE I'VE OWNED IT. I have not had any problems with it, and was told by the previous owner that it was fine to ride (based on his mechanic). My shop supported his claim that the frame was in fine shape. as I said, I have never had any problems, and I hardly noticed the dent. It is noticable when inspecting the frame, however when built it is rather 'hidden' by the front wheel, and the angle (looking down).

I am selling this bike because I got 'the itch', bought a new frameset, and am now trying to finance components.

Great frame - lightweight, stiff for climbing and sprinting, but the carbon rear really smooths out the road.

I think this bike still has a lot of life left in it. Great for someone looking to add a road bike to the stable, or get into cycling tri. This could be built up as a reasonably light, cost effective bike.

ASKING $365, shipping to CONUS included. OFFERS WELCOMED.

I will ship to HI, AK, and internationally - let me know and I can try to reconfigure the price.
