Selling this one for a buddy:

2004 Felt DA 700 58cm (frame bought new in Spring of 2008). Dura-Ace 10 speed new in 2005, Dura-Ace wheels, Profile Carbon X (new 2008), Profile water bottle cage, new tires (Hutchinsons Carbon). The frame has a few blemishes on the decals from peeling race numbers off but no damage or scratches on the frame. $1400...buyer pays shipping.

Can you define "frame bought new in 2008"? What does that mean? Is the rest of the bike excluding the new tires and fork from 2004? Also, and I suppose I could look this up, but is the frame carbon or aluminum?

Thanks!

Bob

Scratch the last question. I supposethe letters AL answer that. How about the seat post and rails, though? Carbon?

No worries. the entire frame is made of custom-butted Easton 7005 Al (including the stays) and the seatpost is Al as well. below is a good description I found on a site. the frame was purchased in the spring of 08 but the parts came off an older bike but still in great condition. all the parts came off a race only bike, and this one was only used for racing as well; with some occational training rides before events.

Description
An original Jim Felt concept, coupled with further collaboration with Easton, has produced a new range of exclusive custom designed tubing offering maximum aerodynamic advantage for triathletes and time trialists alike. The aero seat post, which fits into an aero seat tube, defines the purpose-oriented nature of this machine. Precision CNC-machined parts include the head tube, bottom bracket shell and wishbone yoke.
· Felt exclusive custom-butted Easton 7005 "Airo" flared aluminum tube set
· CNC-machined dropouts, seatpost head and front derailleur mount
· Reynolds Aero Carbon Fiber fork with carbon steer tube. Includes integrated 1" Aheadset
· Felt custom "Airo" seatpost
· Made in the U.S.A.

I'm interested in a tri bike but don't want to spend over $1000. Let me know if we can work something out.

Would you let it go for $1000
Or be interested in selling the frame?
