I got a few pm about the replacement comment: because of the small hole, Cervelo offered a discount on a replacement frame. So I could send the frame in(and out of circulation) for a discount on a new frameset OR if someone wants to buy the frame from me(and thus keep it circulation) for close to the discount offered, I'll go that route instead. I'm just trying to keep the frame in the hands of someone who might use it, instead of Cervelo(who might just end up scrapping it)

Ah ok, I would want to ride it as is, but not if its damaged. I thought the hole was more like a chip than structural.

It's not structural according to Cervelo and the local dealer. Ill put/send photos tonight. I'm currently out of town

how much is the discount.. is it still safe to ride. id love to make this my training bike.

It's still safe to ride and the damage is non structural. I believe the trade in discount is between 1000-1200 depending on which lbs I use.

Someone PM'ed me about the dent near the ferrule in the above photo but that's just a light illusion. I just inspected the bike closely(a few moments ago actually) and could not find any other imperfections. The bike wasn't abused so I didn't expect to find any either way.

I guess I should post a full frame shot too eh? Last bump before I trade this baby in. $1100 shipped.
